BOOKS! with Bella Rae
Imagine the confetti stars in this podcasts cover photo to be a million tiny glorious books being bestowed upon you by your new book fairy godmother: ME!
While I have not read a million books (yet) I do have plenty of ideas for which books to shamelessly add to that never-ending tbr stack accumulating in (or beside, or on top of) your bookshelf. Come along and nod your head in agreement -or disbelief- at my takeaways from each new book I journey into, and hear my general notes (i.e: gushing) in quarterly episodes where I compile all of the books I have read that spring, summer, fall, or winter and divulge which my absolute top favorites from that seasons reads!
BOOKS! with Bella Rae
Dickens and Prince: A Particular Kind of Genius by Nick Hornby
I ate cheese before, during, and after recording this episode and somehow managed to convince myself it would not be heard. Spoiler alert..... that convincing was done in bad taste. If you love asmr and books- this is the episode for you and a gold star will be given to anyone who can finish listening (I myself had to edit this in two rounds).
In all seriousness, I apologize for the absolutely wild sound, but then again, I took the brunt of the pain and edited most cheesey mouth sounds out! You are very welcome.
Episode two of BOOKS! With Bella Rae, covers the FABULOUS book "Dickens and Prince" by Nick Hornby. This was my first read by the author and will certainly not be my last. Hear me rave for approximately 15 minutes straight about the details and quality of said book. Happy reading!! <3
If you would like to purchase Dickens and Prince, here is my link to the book on bookshop.org. I receive a small compensation (at no extra cost to you)from each purchase made through these links:
